Pisces Engineering have supplied many heating systems to the aquaculture industry. All systems are designed around two basic designs. The first is a simpler system and involves installing the boiler system and letting the farm outlet water go to waste. The second design uses heat a recovery system, where the outlet water from the system is passed through filters and then heat exchangers to reduce operating costs.
Although such systems are higher on capital costs, they have lower operating costs. All our boiler only systems are designed to enable
heat recovery to be added on at a later date without major
interruptions to the system.
As far as possible, our heating systems are built at our factory, either in refurbished shipping containers or on skid mounts so they can be easily transported and plugged in on site.
This keeps costs down as there is less site work required.
Small System
Solutions
In addition to large boiler
systems, Pisces Engineering have, over the years provided many
small scale solutions to marine and freshwater hatcheries and
aquaculturists requiring only a small heat input using
electrical immersion units and localised control units.
